Takamatsu with 6 in one room:
a large tatami room in the city centre, or an onsen hotel on Mt Mineyama.
Not many places in Takamatsu let 6 share one room. Which one you choose depends on whether you eat dinner in town and want an easy walk to the Shodoshima ferry, or leave dinner and the onsen to the hotel. On Rakuten Travel, the price per person was around ¥10,000 with breakfast for the city-centre tatami room and from ¥33,000 with dinner and breakfast for the onsen hotel on Mt Mineyama: more than 3 times apart (as of October 2026).
